Are you considering to start a blog of your choice. A great decision indeed. The only confusion you may have is what is the right topic or niche that has to be finalized.

• It shows through in your writing, and your readers can feel that. This, in turn, will lead to a larger following.

The exactly opposite happens when you choose a blogging niche that was not your passion and you think it will earn a lot of profit. You’re bound to run into burnout and dissatisfaction. Another disadvantage of going the profitability route is that you probably don’t have as much knowledge in those subjects as you do in what you are passionate about. If you don’t know what you’re talking about, why would anyone read your blog?

How to finalize on what your Passion is?

You need to answer a few questions for yourself.

• What are your hobbies?
• How do you spend your free time?
• What is the one topic you could go on about for hours if your friends or family let you?
• What types of classes did you enjoy in high school or college?
• What do you enjoy reading and learning about?
• If you would have to quit your job and do one thing the rest of your life regardless of salary, what would you do?

The decision can be taken by taking up this exercise. Create a list of 10 separate blog post titles and if you do not come up with proper headlines  then it is not the right blogging niche. The next step will be writing on each of the 10 blogging titles shortlisted. Hey if you have been successful then you have content ready to upload in your blogging site.

But yes if  you are unable to proceed on the titles then you have finalized on the right blogging niche. Such exercises will help you finalize the blogging topic of your choice.
